Meet the Instructor
Jennifer Stern-Hasemann is the owner and designer of
J Stern Designs, a line of fashion sewing patterns and fitting workbooks featuring easy-to-follow instructions, and the author of many Threads articles. She has an extensive background in pattern drafting, garment fitting, and clothing construction. Jen is passionate about designing pants and jeans, and her specialty is fitting. After trying many methods, Jen fine-tuned a process to make pants fitting accessible to everybody. She also shares tips, techniques, and projects on her YouTube channel, via Zoom classes, and through in-person workshops nationwide.
